Post subject:  How much would you expect to pay for..
5/8" -11UNC Recoil brand 'kit' to fix the drain hole in the sump. I'm waiting on a reply to what is in the 'kit' but they want $100 plus $12 postage (ouch)

EDIT:
In the kit you will get

1 x Thread Tap

1 x Insertion Tool for inserts

5 x Thread Inserts.

Not so bad at $20 each - anyone need to rethread their sump hole?

EDIT 2: - International eBay store - as above but 6 inserts $Aus18 plus post - even if $20-$30 I'd be ahead

I brought a set from Coventrys/Universal fasteners for $70 All the sizes were relative in cost.

Those things were always dear. :x
I bought a 14mm kit years ago just to fix my OMC 115HP outboard. I used it once- anybody needs spark plug holes fixed, just PM me.. :lol:

Well postage is going to be $US15.60 about $AUS17 so all up about $35 with an extra insert for something that sells here for $100

I'll have some spare inserts so if anyone needs to re-thread their sump drain hole or the reverse detent pin hole just PM me.

All up it's costing $36.90 with Paypal Tax ($1.35 more on the conversion through paypal than the banks :evil: ) but I have the guys email address now so I can deal direct in future if I need anything else
