i have been thinking of putting a second petrol tank on my van and was wondering if you can stick any petrol tank on it as a reserve tank or does it have to be a special tank???

hope someone can answer my question...

Fitting it in safely will be the challenge , maybe an export moke tank which fits inside the space in the rear subframe ? Plumbing a filler in will be the fun part though .

There was a factory auxillary tank avaliable for the stn wagons/vans way back in the good old days, (someone told me that it was originally the tank fitted to the vans & wagons when they were first introduced, but i don`t know how true that is, i havn`t done any homework on that one yet),,, i always thought it was just an auxillary tank. but still, probably sooooo dam hard to get these days,,, might be worth a hunt around tho, you just never know what`s around the next corner hey?
