But check out this in the kit info page ....

Quote:
- Cush drive within the transmission. This component is vital for reducing shock loads in the transmission and is present in the rear hub of all Yamaha R1 motorbikes. Not all bike engine cars have this simple but important feature to prolong transmission life.

That does sound like a seriously nice conversion though when you look at it all .

6000 quid ,,, PLUS an R1 engine ,,, PLUS fitting... PLUS the exchange rate,,, PLUS you have to pay to get it from the other side of the planet,,, PLUS import duty ... PLUS GST,,, PLUS there`s more to it than is explained,... so if you`re thinking about it then be prepared for a hell of a lot more work & money than the first post in this thread suggests & well more than is explained on the web site.

I have a pretty dam good idea of what`s involved--> if you know what i mean

& Please don`t get me wrong here---> i`m not saying don`t do it,,, what i am saying is that there is far more to it than meets the eye. Do your homework before you just rush out & spend all your money (or your mums/dads &/or the banks money)

Well, she probably wouldn't notice if you replaced it with an A series engine
