Just wondering what's missing from the manifold

and what does that pipe marked with green tags go to?
And I have a set of 3-2-1 LCB extractors, if I modify it to take all the sensors that are in the std manifold would everything still work correctly?

the threaded fitting would be the vaccum takeoff for the brakes wouldn't it?
I'll have a look and see if I have the hoses with the green fitting on mine.
as long as all sensors are fitted to your extractors everything should work fine.

What are you doing fitting EFI to an australian mini? which fuel injection SPI or MPI?

Benoz is right. It's a big bolt/plug that's missing off there plus a pipe that goes to the brake booster.

That T piece with the green tags is not standard for an SPI. It should just be one vacuum pipe running down to the ECU. I wonder where the other line goes to? A vacuum gauge, maybe?

No it's standard. It's the "filter" that should be in the vacume line to the ECU to stops liquids going down the hose and fowling the MAP sensor inside the ECU. Short line from back of manifold to this filter which is mounted vertically next to the manifold, then a second line from there to the ECU.

As for the LCB's - go for it. I tried several combinations of exhaust diameters and mufflers - the only thing that made any noticeable difference to the performance was the LCB. It didn't do much for the middle/top end (maybe more economical), but made a big difference down low. SPi's seem to be a bit "sluggish" below 3k rpm, but the LCB improved the low end torque and made it a lot more pleasant to drive around town. Just mount the O2 sensor in the centre branch.

Be careful when sorting out an exhaust. I modified a maniflow 3-1 to fit an SPI engine, but didn't realise the exhaust would foul the inlet manifold.
So, out came the hacksaw to remove the lower water pipe and then file off a bit more that hit. Would've been easier to have the right exhaust or modify the pipe, not the inlet to suit.

My eyesight must be going 8) . I just had a better look and realise that it's not a T piece at all, it's just an elbow that I was looking at. Mine hasn't got an elbow there. It's just a tube.

Thanks for the info and it's a 1995 or 96 SPI.
I'll see how I go with the LCBs hopefuly it's not too hard.
