Hi all Considering doing a pulsar N12 dizzy conversion for an A series 998/1100. In the 'How To' it states dizzy no D4R83. A wrecker in Sydney has a D414A A3104. Are they the same, can I use this one? Tried Nissan & they said those numbers mean nothing to them. |

They are an Hitachi brand I think thats why the Nissan people would know them . The part numbers mentioned in the How too are needed as they are the right diameter and length of shaft AND rotate the right way |

Not familiar with that number I suspect it's an early one with points, not electronic. Avoid any Pulsar/Astra dizzy with the cap clipped on, they are points ones. D4R83 and D4R85 are very similar advance curve, if you are modding it for any Mini motor, either will do. These numbers are stamped on the outside of the dizzy body. |
