anton if it is really old and warn it probably wont look much cleaner no matter what you do. Id get a spray on degreser onto it (not in the sun) do alittle bit at a time. spray it on, rub gently with one of them green scourers., then wipe clean with a rag,.

i tried all the vinyl cleaners n shiet
they are good for clean vinyl

so for my seats steve used Gumption
and i used Ajax, or Jiff

these all are abrasive cleaners they will get all the dirt
use with plenty of water and a green pan scourer

dont worry no harm to the seats
after protect with a protector eg meguires vinyl shine

all this i learnt in one afternoon at stevenmikeys place

hmmmm....thanx all for the tips.

Pops vinyl is immac, except for 34 years of bums rubbing dirt into the it. If I can get a good cleaner they should look new. None of the vinyl has gone hard from the sun, or faded....it's been garaged all it's life!

Where do you get Dissol from and what exactly is it? Is it automotive or household?

Anton

I promise 20 minutes and the seats will look like new if you take a green scouring pad wet it good dip in a little gumption and wipe of dirt and excess moisture with a clean cloth and they will be like new, promise. same goes for the door cards.

well I combined suggestions from here and suggestions from my trimmer and ended up using Sunlight soap and a green scotchbrite pad.

This is how they came up...one cleaned, one dirty.
