I have a new set of 7.5" discs and I need some info on how to assemble them correctly. This is how I figure it goes together;
1st Q. is the hub up the right way? (steering arm bracket bolts on the top
)
Q 2. Dose the caliper go at the front or the back of the disk? (Which side is this L or R?)
Q 3. The little spring on the plastic, Does that go in the top ball joint under the little cup?
Q 4. I don't have the 4 screws that connect the rotor to the plat thingy on the left, are these needed?
And I want to paint the lot as well so what surfaces can be painted? I was going to do the entire caliper except the pistons, Front and back of the plate on the left (do I leave the flange on the back or is it cool to paint that), and paint the entire rotor except for the front and back where the pads will obviously go. Obviously I wont be painting the insides of the rotor or the splines on the plate. (what is the correct name for the plate thingy?)
Any tips or tricks with assembling will be appreciated.
