HI all,

I am looking for someone in Sydney who has a set of 10x6 minator Rims, i believe these fit over my 4 pot minispare calipers with vented discs but i would like to varify before i purchase them.

has anyone in Sydney got these rims? i would like ot try them on my car if possible?

I have actually got a wheel sent to me from Minisport SA by Andrew (thanks heaps for that by the way) ans i am very delighted to say they DO fit over my big brake set up.

so anyone thinking of going 7.5" vented discs with Minispares black 4 pot calipers, get the Minators 10x6 from Andrew at Minisport SA as they DO fit.

Apologies for the OT question, but what brake master cylinder are you running with the 4-potters? I've got them on my car with solid 7.5" discs and a 0.7" K/Mk2 S brake master, and can't get a very high pedal due to the fluid volume the calipers consume. They sure do work, though

Good to know there's another wheel which fits over the calipers, I've got 10x5 ROH Contessa's on mine but there's not a lot of air between wheel and caliper. It's tight enough that a bit of mud or tar dried on the inside of the rim will scrapey scrapey

I've got the same setup (alloy 4 pots, 7.5" discs and 10x6 miniators), and am looking at a 7/8" bore master cylinder to replace it for much better pedal feel. A brake booster may help, but is an unnecessary weight for racing. I have been told 0.75" (tandem) mini brake cylinders don't provide much relief to this problem.

Funny this fact is never mentioned on any websites selling the calipers!!!

Yeah, I've been told to consider a Jap master cylinder (Mazda, IIRC) of I think that dimension.. but it's in the "too hard" basket at the moment. I'd consider replacing the brake (0.7") MC with a clutch (0.75") but I'm not convinced it'll make enough difference to warrant the effort.

Either way, great brakes
