Hi Sean I've had my mini for about 2 years and have bought a few things from Minicraft in Bayswater but find them to be a little expensive at times. Been to Just Mini's in Kelmscott a couple of times and he's quite helpful and not bad for prices, but my highest recommendation is that you talk to Al Munday (sent you a pm with his number). He gets parts for me usually cheaper than the other shops but has the best service I've found from anyone i've ever bought stuff off. I got him to do all the work of rebuilding/modifying my engine and he was happy to explain to me the whole process of how to do a rebuild while he was doing it. He's an ex-mini-racer and is still involved in building race engines. He was recommended to me by Lance Stannard who was racing one of the more successful historic minis at the v8 supercar round at barbagallo. I'd suggest give him a call and he'd be happy to look at your mini and recommend what (if anything) can be done to improve it for you Geoff |
