You will need some flat strap steel 4.5cm by 3mm.... bend it thus.... ![]() ![]() The ears are about 1cm long and the two arms of the vee about 4cm each. Across the ears (centre to centre of the strap) measures 5.5cm. It works a treat ![]() ![]() |

Looks great. I will keep it in mind. ![]() (I usually just stick a ½" sidchrome set spanner in the ring gear. It never pops out.) |

I clamp the flywheel with a pair of vice grips through the starter hole.. works a treat, so far. this looks much better though Ima make me one. |

I bought one of these off ebay.... a bit picey compared to a bearing shell... but as I work alone mostly - I know it ain't going to slip ... bolts onto starter motor holes... ![]() |

Well I was creative and built this, All with a 9" grinder, drill press and an arc welder ![]() ![]() I even angled the edges so it would slot in nicely ![]() |
