There was a fairly lengthy post in the Mods section that contained alot of opinions on this. Do a search, you might get lucky.

I have an adjusti set. $60 US. If that helps?

Chris has a much cheaper way of "making your own" camber brackets...

Just slap a gutter.

For driving on the road.... camber brackets are useless. Just increases the tyre wear. And YOU dont have good brakes so you wont be driving fast in the hills.

For high speed corners at race speed on a race circuit..... very handy indeed.

Have a think about it.

I don't like 'em, most are about as strong as pushbike chain adjusters.. :x
Did mine by filing the holes upwards in the brackets, MIG weld the bottom of the hole, then file hole for a neat fit on the shaft. You only want about 1* neg camber anyway, and for the road you probably will never move it again..

I was looking at putting them on to prevent rear tyre wear.

My rears wear on the insdie but I spose I cluld look at putting more shims in the orginal brackets also.

hey devil, make sure the bearings in the swing arms are not worn out before you start to fiddle with the camber. common cause of abnormal rear tyre wear, as is bent subframe.

the idea of the camber brackets being discussed here is to add more negative camber, so the inside of the tyre will wear MORE if you put them in and drive mostly straight lines. i.e. not racetrack cornering.

My Devil drives very straight now just a small amount of wear on theinsides but by the time the tyres are worn out the wear on the inside is just on the bald side.
not too bad tho

From memory, 5mm gives about 1*. Get the car checked on a wheel aligner or camber gauge, before you start. Mine needed 5mm one side and 7mm the other to get 1* negative.

1. Check rear Camber on aligner
2. Mod arms accordingly
3. Check wheel alignment before welding up elongated holes?
4. Weld up holes
5. Final check of alignment??

dat right?????
2.
