Looking at purchasing a mig and was looking at a Toolex 180 or transmig 200, the guy at my local then recommended the Unimig 175 mig/stick, a little more expensive (around the $1250, country town prices  ) but includes a few bits and pieces including auto darkening mask....

Heres a link to it... http://unimig.com.au/175mig.html

Does anyone have one of these or used one, would appreciate a bit of feedback on these before I make a decision....

Cheers

I have used one and they are ok.

As far as the helmets go.....its a bit of a grey area really. I use a old fashioned one. I use a fastglass at work but my eyes hurt sometimes. The helmets at work cost about $300 so if you buy this one you are potentially paying $300 you dont have too.

I have a toolex 170amp and it goes and goes and goes. I bet the crap out of it regularly and its been great near on 5 years old now :D
