My mini is getting a new interior.. i dropped it off last night and should be ready in a week, i want a center console - i have the old style center ignition ect... has anyone built or bought a console? have any plans they are willing to share? would like to build one this week so i can get it trimmed the same as my doors, or ill get one shipped from the uk... but im poor lol...... and it will have to wait |

wouldn't it be nice............... I found a plan for one looking around on the net, am going to make it from cardboard tonight and try it out in my mates mini, its not a very good looking one but may ba a good starting point. I quite like the ones that can be bought from mini shops in the uk though... dads going over in a month...... |

this was bourght from super trim in vic years ago...freind of mine copied it and made it fit a clubman...so this one can be made to fit most minis |

It came with my 1st mini, so I don't know where its from. It also fits over the starlet shifter mechanism so WOO HOO!! |

will add ..only problem is most consoles are very close to the cutch pedal so this will be one thing you will have to consider... i only had problems when i wore large boots etc... this console came trimmed in my choice of materail and diddnt have the gear boot etc cut. i got the gear leaver suround from autobarn but the same thing can be brought from supercheap. |
