I bought the badge and when I tried to insert the 2 pins into the holes, the pins were actually a bit further apart than the holes (no more than 1mm apart i think) , so couldn't get the 2 pins in the 2 holes at the same time except the most most likely way is by forcing them through. And I dun want to use 'brutal' force so will chip the paint off.

Is this a problem common and how to solve it?

What is the proper way to fit a Morris bonnet badge to the Mini bonnet.
