If you want to keep him original, I have some NOS Oz made Champion N9Y plugs here. Or you can go buy some NGK BP6ES or Bosch W7DC. I think I have an original GUD oil filter element for him too, ~1969, still in box.. Air filter is a stock Mini 850 one, as the carb is an HS2. No I don't have one.. ![]() |

GUD is what became Ryco, I think. Come to think of it,, it's in a BMC box maybe? Anyhow I'll bring tomorra. Yours if you want it- my cars all use spin ons now. ![]() <edit> It's actually a Ryco, AYG65 in a Leyland box. Box is marked Cooper, late `65. It's the one with the integral steel plate on the bottom, used in filter housings that had the filter bypass switch. You can have it for nix if it fits. ![]() |

No, I checked it today, it's the right one for the filter he has (with bypass switch in housing) I don't think this box marking (scribbled in biro) was correct, it's not a Cooper (ie early type) filter . ![]() There are actually 3 different cartridge filters - early (separate plate), Cooper S (felt, separate plate), late (integral plate). + The automatic one of course- it's much longer. |
