Boot hinges, the inside threads are gone... dont know what to do, find some chrome hinges ? maybe 4. http://www.freewebs.com/seefuh/dash.JPG .. Dont have a clue what the original is suppose to look like. Anyone have photos of original dash. I would like everything to be as stock or orignal as possible.. Wow, what do you guys think ? Chris |

hey its another Chris with a mini in Sydney i reckon there are heaps of you around (at least 4) anyway, most of what youre looking for can be bought two options: 1. from shops (Mini Clinic, Padstow, 58Gibson Rd i think) very exxy 2. from us (yes, us!) im sure a couple of people are willing to sell you for much cheaper than the stores or even give you their bits and pieces i dont have any clubman parts so cant help you there btw i think chrome boot hinges from mini clinic are around $120/set |

this might sound a little dodgey, but when one of the threads of one of my hinges striped i simply tapped a new 7mm metric thread and used a bolt as the stud. it was alot cheaper then buying new hinges and it saved getting new ones painted, over all i spent about $10 on the tap and the bolts and it only took about 10min. i practiced on an old hinge first ryan |
