Even though I was born after the 14th of February 1966, I do know how much one eighth of an inch is BUT. My question is: Where is the 1/8" measured from on my carby float? I cut a bit of 0.0125" alloy at work and used it as a guide but am not sure if I measured at the right point. My mini seems to be flooding at lights and around round abouts, so I figured the float was too high? I took it for a spin after adjusting it to the height in the photo and it seemed to make a slight difference. Going off recent posts carbies/fuel seem to be problem of the month. ![]() ![]() |

Thanks Hanra, So it's measured with the plunger NOT depressed right? I measured it with the plunger depressed. BTW looks like I don't know what 1/8" is..... It's 0.125" not 0.0125" like I wrote in my first post. |

Yeah just flip it upside and let it sit under its own weight when you measure it. |
