ok tomorrow me and minidrifter are gonna spend the day installing the back seat and fixing my dash. i got 2 rear seats both completely different. dont know which one will suit better and what they were from. the last owner gave me to me along with a back window and 2x sealed beams. also if your rear seats were removed and you plan on putting them back in do you need a blue slip? she wasnt sure where she got those seats from so i thought i would ask for an opinion before the go in. they may change colour. ![]() ![]() ![]() they are in promising condition and just need a cleaning |

The cream ones are from a 71/72ish clubman (I can hear bubbaclubby frantically typing a PM to you now as they are the same as he is looking for) and the brown are a later Leyland mini (mid 70's) . You say the seat was removed , is there any modification plate on the car or is it listed on the rego papers as a two seater ? It should be alright if there isn't anything to say it has been made a two seater but if it has been officialy changed to a two seater you'll technically need a blue slip to change the details . |

Has the panel behind the seats been modified or is the other thing just a cover over it ? |

The white ones would suit the interior better, but the brown ones look the more comfortable |

Didn't you just recently re-register your car? Has your father got the papers, or did you end up doing it? Are we sure those lighter seats aren't GT seats? I thought GT seats had that pattern. Would be a shame to alter those to fit into your car, when the other seats are available which you could do whatever at will. KB |

well the car was registered at the start of the year, so i dont remember wats happened to it. and thats why im asking about the seats, i dont wanna wreck one that is worth more. cause im not sure whether to paint the seats and what colour yet. the white one is very soft were the brown one is more firm. brown one looks like its never been sat on really |

KB They aren't specific GT seats but they are the pattern that was used by Leyland on all clubmans when the GT's were made if that makes any sense . They would be useful to anyone restoring a GT or early clubman . |

the cream ones have the same pressed vinyl pattern as my interior does (and door cards) making them a 71/72 early clubby pattern. id go for the brown ones and just get some vinyl paint (blaaaaack, the match the rest of the interior) and get rid of that weird box thing ![]() |
