get a spare lead and stick it on the coil. put a spark plug on the end and crank, see if the coil is firing ok but don't hold onto plug otherwise you will get fried, use pliers or something as you need the plug earthed yeah (compredeh
)

My bro says that the coil is working and the points are sparking.

Could it be the condensor??

If the condensor is not working then the engine won't run properly, but you should still be able to see a spark at the plug

What lead would you be talking about here? Hopefully not the plug/coil lead.

To test for spark from the coil:
Put a plug lead into the coil, then place a sprk plug in the other end.
Hold the metal body of the plug against the block/head so it gets a good earth.
Whilst cranking the engine, check to see if the plug has a spark jumping accross the gap. If so coils good, if not coils not good.

And as stated be careful how you hold the plug as the coil puts out thousands of volts, but with very low ampage.

If you have to pour petrol down the throat of the carby it must be a fuel supply problem.
1) Is there fuel in the tank? Is there fuel in the carby?
2) Is the pickup blocked in the tank?
3) Are all the hoses on the fuel pipe hooked up?
4) Is there a fuel filter? Is it blocked or split?
5) Is the fuel pump working?
6) Is the needle valve in the carby blocked up?
7) Is the jet in the bottom of the carby blocked?

Pull the fuel hose off the float bowl and see if the pump is pumping when you turn the motor over.
Try filling the carby with fresh petrol. Undo the three screws on the float bowl and clean out any old fuel or dirt and fill with fresh fuel.

How much old fuel was in the tank and did you drain it and put fresh fuel in ? Depending on how long it sat for the fuel line could be full of crap/rust/sludge or petrol with the octane rating of water due to the age of it .
