i just pulled my 1100 hundred apart and pulled the spindle out of the engine and realized it doesnt fit in my 1275 where there different sizes? the distributor fits like a glove in the engine but it should have the piece that locks the spindle in first that the distributor fits like a glove into if u get me.

sounds like your 1275 is an A+ motor, they have a different drive dog, and the clamping method is different- they have 1 bolt and a finger clamp.
