Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

remember last year it rained on Friday and Saturday, woke up to fine weather on Sunday and had to deal with slippery ground that was like driving on snot all morning!

Hanra, you still couldn't come - rain would get on the car while it was on the trailer, unless you've got a fancy covered in jobbie

If you remember Simon after all that rain fell on the ground, after a dozen cars went through we were making dust, yes it was slippery on Saturday for scruttineering, but Sunday was fine.

sure do... and after the ground was packed down, we were leaving black marks on the clay....

beautiful conditions for motorkhanas, you get to experience all the different surfaces without changing venue, or even where the tests are laid out - skid pan, dirt, and tarmac!
