just a heads up from the Mini Mania forum, (reference to 'Patina' is an Australian plastics company, Patina.com.au).

Dunno what type Matt sells. This is what was on the other forum.
Anyway $18 for 12 seems like a bargin to me. Just trying to help reduce your costs.

You know I was looking for these mythical bottles for a while. the wife used to see them all the time in chemical laboratories. Now Matt has them remade I have one of those. 17 bucks for 12 is nuts, and the difference would be barely noticeable in a normal engine bay.

I think the reference to 'Patina' is the colouration of the old bottle. Patina is the colour that metals take on with age - that enhances its appearance - as opposed to rust. I think it is coincidence there is an Australian Plastics firm with the name Patina

Matt , how did you get the new ones made , did you have to find a perfect original one to take a mould from or were they able to make the mould from looking at a worn one or just measurments/photo's ? How many did you have to order for them to make them , hundreds or thousands ?

Yeah , good point Ty , I can't imagine them making a mould etc for less than 500 bottles and with the mould and production it can't have been cheap to setup .
