How is the easiest way to remove needle roller bearings from the upper control arm?

I thought you could press them through but on closer inspection it looks like there is a sleeve that is part of the casting in the centre....not removable like the rear radius arm one....?

They will come out if you have a long enough drift. You can also use a dremel to cut a groove in the outer sleeve/race once you have removed the rollers.

Or if you have a go at it you may also be able to deform the outer sleeve/race by getting a small sturdy punch, chisel or screwdriver under the race from the end. If you can fold the entire race in on itself it will eventually just fall out.

Good luck.

I MIG weld a bolt into them with 6 or 8 tack welds, then pull them out with a nut and spacer.
same as I do with trailing arm, or idler gear bearings.
