Here's a quickie for those that know, what 12" alloys can I get that will fit discs/ spaced drums, without the need for wheel arch extentions?
I know I'll need 145/70 tyres, they are no problem. Rioms are what I need info on.
Steel rims are a given, and genuine rover alloys I believe you can just get away with.

I saw some rims on a mini the other day that looked good. Basically they looked like superlights, but with enough offset to keep them in the guards.
They had a union jack on the centrecaps, so no brand I could identify.

Anyone know anything else?
:D

They are Chinese Superlight lookalikes sold by Tempe Tyres.
usually sold with Falken 145s on.

I have a set of these chinese superlight's with 145's on them, yet to put them on a car. I'll dig them out and see how they fit.

I just bought a used set off a ausmini member, still haven't put them on though but they should fit without flares. There $650 for 145s, i think the brand is Starcorp or something like that.

These are ex Nissan, 4.5*12 multi-stud. They fit without flares, i just have them to cover some nastyness

I hope they have been drilled for a Mini stud pattern!

Nissan/Honda/Toyota 4 x 100mm wheels crammed onto Mini 4 x 4" (101.6mm) stud pattern is asking for trouble! The nuts will never be centred properly in the stud holes and you will have problems with bent/broken studs, wheels working lose and potentially coming off completely. I've seen it happen. :(
