I'm hoping that someone with a clubman (after 1/74) would be willing to take a photo of their tyre placard for me (recomended tyre pressures etc...)
Rego want one fitted to my Jem (to comply with the ADR that came in from 1974). So if I can get a photo of one that is somewhat relevant to the vehicle and make up a sticker - they will be happy.
Many thanks

This is what Steve at Brickworx put on a Rover that I bought. All it is, is laminated paper and was stuck on to the mini near the battery in the boot. It passed blue slip in NSW like that in April this year.

Syd the point is...did Jems come out with them stickered on/affixed anywhere originally :?:

If not, politely explain that to the Nazis

For better or worse, it's being rego'd as a 1975 so must comply to the 1975 ADRs. Therefore requires the tyre placard. PITA indeed.

Hey great, thanks guys! That should give me enough to work with. It's all pretty silly. Even though the car is a '69, the engineer and Tech standards thought it would be a better idea to engineer it as a 1/75 car seeing as there were virtually no ADR's in '69. They didn't want an engineers report that just had N/A for everything. I'm just going with the flow

If it's getting down to putting on a sticker - sounds promising ! They are running out of obstacles....

Rego like to muck you about - but if you "go with the flow" get there in the end...

Can't wait to see it on the road...

( but not sure on the legality when push comes to shove - if it's a 69 model it's a 69 model and built to whatever standards (or not) existed... that's the whole point ???
My Elf is 69 - no heater or demist... but no probs registering... )

Yes, getting close. Just a couple more things to do and will try rego again (maybe next week). I'm not getting my hopes up. You can never tell what rego will throw up at you, it's a waste of time arguing though, they hold all the power.

There are a few in Canberra/NSW that have taken them on and succeeded....let us know how you go
