Post subject: | Water Sender Thread - Clubman |
Hi i was just wondering what the thread size is for the water sender in a late clubman head. I need a adapter for my speco temp gauge and i was told to get 544-42 5/8"unf x 18mm-1.5 but it was way to big. I emailed speco and these are the available adapters: 544-41 5/8"unf x 16mm-1.5 544-42 5/8"unf x 18mm-1.5 544-43 5/8"unf x 1/2"npt 544-44 5/8"unf x 3/8"npt 544-45 5/8"unf x 5/8"unf Which one will i need? Also the sender doesnt go all the way in the hole? Will i be able to still use it? Has anyone used this gauge on a late clubman? ![]() Cheers |

All I can say is, a 5/8-18 UNF tap cleans it out properly without removing metal so IMO it's close enough. AND, you can buy them... Wink From a while back... |

When you say too big - would it screw in or jamb up - the Doc said to run a tap through first |

I cant even screw it in, it doesn't fit in the hole at all. |
