Post subject:  Coming over to Adelaide
Will be in ADELAIDE for a week starting 13th july and Staying in Carrington Street, any one want to meet up for a beer or chat while I am over there, would appreciate that as not too familiar with what Adelaide has to offer. :shock:

Going to spend a few days at Brickworx with Steve, shoplifting if he doesn't watch me too close....LOL.... :oops: :oops:

Even meet at the factory for a chat. that would be great, so please let me know. :twisted:

There is a good pub on Carrington Street, the Coopers Alehouse. Good meals and beer.

Everything in the city is in walking distance from there.

The National Motor Museum is good for a look at Birwood. Maybe we could organise a cruise for you or something if you have a day free. Down south there are some nice beach side towns Victor Harbour and the like but might be a bit cold this time of the year. Peter1 brought the weather from Tassie with him.

Im happy to give you a lift somewhere or anything.

Why are you heading over anyway?

Got 2 weeks holidays owing, so what better way than to return to the birth place of my toy, (Brickworx) and have a chat with Steve,

that part the wife doesn't know about...... :roll:

Wife has relatives that live at Kangarilla, so will have to visit them sometime I suppose.

Look for some mini parts.. :wink:
Let the wife do some shopping in Adelaide.

Go to Kangaroo Island for the day,

Do the wineries and restaurants

Go down to Glenelg and that bloody big shopping centre at Marion
No mini shops there....

That's Gods country....I grew up and lived there for 11years (cut hill road)...Still a member of the local Kangy C.F.S as well.....Don't tell me her last name is/was either, THORPE or SMART?...lol :lol:

Hey,

I'd be up for some socialising. I'm yet to join in with anything in my Rover, and it's been ages since I've been to Birdwood.

I'll keep an eye on this, and see where it goes. Looking forward to possibilities.
