Just installed the new 65A alternator, it's amazing how you notice the absence of noise when you remove a grumbly old alternator bearing from the car :)

Big thanks to the good Doc for the wiring tips, and a huge thanks to Andrew at Minisport for the very nice high-capacity replacement alternator at a very nice price 8)
