Strags and zorst it will go a little better as it will allow the gases out and it will sound great too.

what year is it?

put extractors on it and a 1 3/4 inch exhaust with a straighthrough muffler, And if it's got a 1 1/4 inch carburettor swap it for a 1 1/2 inch one with a cut inlet manifold.

you're looking at about $400-$600 to get that done by most mini places.. or you could do it much cheaper if you got hold of good second hand stuff from ebay.

Oh sorry I forgot 1978 clubman bit of body rust mechanically A1 original inertia and the engine has never been touched some old people must have owned it because it has never been thrashed and it has been round the clock once or twice and has got
109900 - 209900Ks that’s what I suspect any ways it drives nice needs a little love n attention but yeah I love it just put a stereo in so the drives are a little more enjoyable
thanks

cool, near end of production run.

with a well sorted intake and exhaust a smallbore mini is pretty quick, not in a straight line but in traffic and through the twisties they're extremely fast.

i used to deliver tofu in a 1967 morris mini deluxe that had been cooperised,
it had all the above parts that i mentioned and i was very very happy with that.. i will never forget the first time driving that car after i got it hotted up. I nearly cried i was so happy heh.

I have dragged off a 4.1 litre ford, an Rx7 12a auto, and a toyota starlet GT

i have fully pulled away from a corolla twin cam, lambourghini miura, early series rx7, nissan s13 and commodores through the hills. Nice cars too not bangers.

i have a 76 and a 77 clubman now, the 76 is going away and i've got a similar engine going in to the 77 clubby which i'm redoing the interior and stuff still.

i've pulled away from my mates' twin cam charade turbo and supra turbo on the downhill of my local twisty hills road in my stock 76 clubby.

How did you find a Lambo Muira to race against in the hills? Only about 10 of them in Australia - maybe 2 or 3 in SA and how many would be driven regularly?

If you really think you dragged any of those cars off, your deluding yourself. They were obviously not trying.... I could say i dragged off a F1 car in my 998, but it just isn't true. Take your car down to the drag strip and have a real run against them and then you will know that it isn't gonna happen. 13 sec's car is pulling great times and he is still being beaten by your above mentioned cars, and he's not running an a series...... keep dreaming

Cheers
