, Should have started with this actually..

Well after 19 years in the garage, My "s" is partly alive. I got it back from Matt on the weekend, and it does start. Nice to hear the old girl fire up after that many years sitting . But there is PLENTY left to do to even think about getting back on the street .

Firstly Lads, I need a Wiring Diagram for a Mk 1 "S" if possible, Its been off road for many years now, and I need to rewire a few sections, but, I cant's find a diagram anywhere. I know there was talk many months agop about a CD getting around with all sorts of info, but, I 'm unsure where that was.

Also if anyone knows the seqence to plug in the wipwer motor wires. I only have a single speed motor and three wires to go into the motor.

Thanks Guys, if theres any wiring gurus out there I need your help.

I'll be chacing a heap of parts too, still need an oil cooler, my old one is cactus. Will need a new drivers side CV, bad bad clunking coming from there, so its cactus too.

Does anyone know a good Locksmith that does house calls in Brissy, my petrol caps don't seem to want to unlock with the old keys that always did used to work???????? So no petrol in there!!!!

I'll be popping up a lot more now I have the "s" back at my place and there will be many many late nights tinkering with it under the house.

Looking forward to getting it back on the road registered and doing a few Mini runs with you guys..

All the best

Thanks Lads, I'll check out the E-bay Link

Hahaha... I think its all the H2O they've already had thats the problem. I've given them a good spray with CRC already, I'll just keep spraying that in for a while and trying them everynow and again to see if anything changes.

Only 19 years? I still have my 68 "S" waiting for its motor which has been sitting on the garage floor for 30 years.

no sense rushing into these things.

Haha, actually I'm almost thinking that the tyres are going to be overkill, and they are brand new, might be going to just get a cheaper set, so as that gives me some cash for parts..

nice car !!

the wiring diagram you want is in Scientific Publications #64 - you need
one anyway, and it's a pain in the arse having a CD with the manual where you need the thing in the garage....
