need to change the driveshafts from the uni type to pot type.
whats the easiest way to get them out? the passenger side came out relatively easy but the drivers side not so easily. the engine is out of the car already if it makes a difference.

As in getting the drive flange out of the gearbox ? The porevious owner of one of my motors fitted them with loctite and they were locked in permanently . I tried levering them out with big screwdriver , then pinchbar , then crow bar and ended up using a supercheap flywheel/pulley puller though I forgot to get the half moon washer things out and broke one in the process .

1. undo the rubber boot and slide or cut it off.
2. hold shaft vertically in one hand, with CV at bottom.
3. hit down on CV hard with a VBFH, preferably a copper faced one. WATCH YER FEET!!!
4. If still not off turn it 180° and hit again.
