Howdy all...

Have been having a great deal of difficulty in winding the windows both up and down in Olli of late to the point that, while they have not jammed per se, they have been very very difficult and I have felt like I could almost break the mechanism....

I will be taking the door cards off to have a ferret around in there to see what is what, but does anybody have any pointers as to what may be wrong, what I should be looking for or what to use to 'smooth' out the operation of the windows?

Cheers

k

If it doesn't slide use more lube :P
I'd suggest finding some sort of lube for the felts and also grease/oil the mechanisms  .

If you are looking for something to lube the felt/rubbers get some graphite powder, the same stuff you use in locks works great

It could be the 40 year old grease on the window regulators that is binding up. But try lubing the runners first. I use silicone spray.
