ok i dont know if this is correct but a mate of mine claims he has seen a four door mini- a clubman ???. he wants to know if you can get them in a round nose?? any body know if manufacturers have ever made four doors? i think he got confued with a wagon.......

No four door minis were ever made by the factory. The mini vans were the closest thing to four doors. However I do remember seeing photos of a custom mini with four doors, and it was very ugly.

There were a couple made in OZ over the years as mini limo's , basically a mini sedan cut behind the doors and a second sedan cut around the windscreen/A panel and welded together giving 4 doors .

I saw pics of a 4 door mini in a mag, some company did a one of conversion. The rear door was so small!

'Menger' from northern Germany made some 4 door Minis.
I guess 3 or 4, not more.

'Mengers' is a little facktory which does some REAL nice (and expensive) Minis! A real legend in Germany.

And I heard, that BLMC at least made one prototype with four doors.
But I've never seen a pic of it...
