Hi All,
Just joined the forum, been having a little look about. Been away from minis for a couple of years, just got myself a nice yellow clubman, 1275, cooper s head and gear ratios , small cam(not sure what grind), 45 weber, metro turbo
discs. All in all a neat little car at a real good price.
Will post some pics when i take some.
Now for the thinking out loud part,
Thinking about putting it back on 10 inch wheels.
And maybe some Clubman GT stripes (how many cooper s replicas are out there???)
Thanks all , Matt O

Sounds like a nice little car. I'm sure everyone would love to see some pics (Instructions in the How To section).

Love the idea of 10" wheels and GT stripes.

Pretty sure 10s wont fit on metro turbo brakes, so will probably sell those and the 12s with yokos , for cooper s discs and some 10s.

chopchop how much are the stripes?

10s are the way to go. And so is a 45 Weber which really sounds the business. If it's got a 3.44 diff you'll be ok, even with a cam and a tall S first gear. I ran my 1310 like that for years as a daily driver in Melbourne. Funtastic !

ollie, glad to hear you are on 10's. I don't know how many people tried to get me on bigger wheels but a mini just looks right on 10's. IMHO.
