The other day I was working out in the sticks when from the top of the power pole I was swinging from I spotted a mini van in a farm yard.
Smoko time saw me driving over there to check it out.
As far as I could tell it was a mini K panel van.(I didn't know that the K came out in a van!)
The body is fairly straight and all external trims and bumpers etc were there but it has been sitting in the open for many years and the weather is starting to take it's toll.
I was tolled that a mechanic had came out to fix the water pump, did half the job and then moved away from the area soon after, so the van has just sat there ever since.
The only real dissapointing thing with it is that it has rear side windows.
I think that at this stage of it's life that it would benefit from being stored in a good shed before the rust starts to take hold and until someone has the time to restore it.
Talking to the farmer he said that his in laws were going to buy it for $900 a couple of years ago. I said I'd pay 3 to 4 hundred for it and left my details. Now just waiting on a call.
I'll keep you posted!
Sorry, no pics and wont be back that way unless I buy it.

Does it have a back seat or a spare wheel well in the back?

You said it has sliding windows it may be a traveller which is a rarer beast.

Either way hope you get it.

Matt

G'day Damian

Ity wouldn't be on the way out of Bendigo on the northern road would it? I spotted one on the way to Echucha a year ago...

I thought it was sad it was rotting away out the back of someone's yard...

No I didn't say it had sliding windows.
It's definitely not a traveller.

Nuh Mick.
It's north of Nhill bordering on the desert.

Ah well, if you get on the road between bendigo and Echucha at any stage keep an eye out...maybe you will end up with two roundnose vans!
