Does anyone know any mini friendly garages in outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne? I'm located in Emerald... I'm thinking Lindsay up in Coldstream would be my best bet... (I've chekced the mini businesses sticky!!)

doesn't necessarily have to be a mini specialist.. just capable and completes work to a high standard!

thanks,

Tim.

Lindsay is great

you could also try RS auto's in Pakenham - they did the RWC on my son's clubby - very fair and he had mini's for years so understands the issues

Link Automotive in Mitcham may be another option. (google link automotive for their website) Lindsay Seibler is great, just too far for me now. Bayswater was bad enough, forget Coldstream although he is good at posting out parts! I use Mini Spares and Repairs in Seaford now.

had never heard of them.. theyre in mooroolbark which is good!

i used to work in nunawading, 2 mins from Link Auto.. and I used to live in Boronia, 2 minutes from Pistons (Lindsay).. so I kinda got used to having someone close by!!

Lindsay has done work for me before, so quite happy to go down there, but will look into minis-r-us as well!

thanks!

Last I heard Lindsay wasn't doing any mechanical repairs anymore, just parts, But i haven't been to his new place.

I'd second the suggestion of Mini spares and repairs, Toby is a top bloke, but it's probably a bit of a hike for you.

I live 2 mins from pistons and work a few doors up :) lindsay is probably the only other person I would let touch my car, however little he wants to

I have never been to any of the other mini places except link for parts.

The owner of Link lives in Emerald/ Avonsleigh, I have dropped my moke off at his place a couple of times and then he takes it to Link to fix it, saves me going to Mitcham and he can find faults on the way to work :D

LInk are great to, Brian the owner always helpful with advice, prices i find very reasonable. Always seem to be busy, so that must say something.
