i think the only additions from a new mini into the old as far as the donk, has been using the supercharger off the new mini and shoving that on an a-series. (vmax-scart?? i think)

ive never seen or heard of somebody trying to get a new minis motor in a classic mini.......id imagine that size would be a huge problem

I wouldn't tackle it.
Lots of better and easier engines to cram into a roundy than a 1.6 litre Chrysler unit,
and the Peugeot one would require a degree in rocket science to fit!
I'd stay with a 1.3 unit. Besides, I dont think you could have a blown 1.6 in an original mini. Too much grunt for Mr Government to let you use on the roads.

Waaaay too big, not very much power and it's hideous Chrysler 4.

Blown 1.6 is the max you can go
