Now that the tyres on the Moke have worn a bit - will the car go faster or will it accelerate better to a lower top speed? |

yes it will accelerate faster and it will go around corners faster due to slick tyres, lower centre of gravity and less unsprung weight |

The other good thing Bloke is, if you happen to loose a wheel whilst driving, then since it has less rotational mass and therefore inertia, the wheel will not go as far down the street under it's own power, before a cabbie 'nicks it. The cabbie however, will be able to shove it in the boot of his car faster for the same reasons as given above.
