The column from any year mini will fit the body of any other year mini.
I've done it with a few versions, the only thing that changes is the wiring plugs.

After stuffing around for ages getting a 'new' column with working steering lock for my moke, I will soon plan to do a similar change for my van, mainly for the security, but also cause the middle of the dash key is just too weird! I am trying to find out if a Rini style column with twin levers will fit a roundy? that way I should have a serviceable lock/wires and twin stalks, and it might not be rusty! I know there are 2 lengths in 'mini' column what about Rini? Any other fitting issues, or is this a dumb idea? |

Get in contact with Steve at Brickworx, a late rover coloum will bolt straight in, they have the wipers & blinkers on 2 stalks on the coloum. Doogie |
