Did you know that in 1970, a log book service (3000 miles) was $6.90 - FIXED PRICE! That's what it says in the log book from Pops. Pops had his 66000 mile service in 1989. He now has 67000 miles on the clock.....  All servicing was done at the same place in Parramatta. All stamped in the book....how cool is that!

When ya get the clock round to 00000 take it to a BMW dealer and ask them to service it for $6.90 once it gets to 3,300 miles. |

Hay JAM is the are they still thier...Maybe after Rego..take it back for a service for a laugh |

Jim, I doubt very much the place will still be there....the last service was in 1989..... ...been off the road since then.
At that service it had: New tie rods, new zorst, new radiator! All still look new....

I worked for Adams Automotive at Hornsby. We prepped a Fiat 125 for the `69 or `70 Bathurst race. Bob Forbes' car? I think- it's a long time ago.

I worked for Larke Hoskins. We had Leyland, Rover, Fiat, Lancia, Rambler, Land Rover, Triumph, Honda and Subaru. Fiat & Lancia were the same franchise and the rest were initially seperate though when Grenville Motors and AMI closed Rover and Triumph came under the same franchise. Rambler just died. |
