total agreement the only use for checker plate is for truck floors and trailers my 1c worth |

i think it was cool for a couple of days during the early 80's... and i think those exterior shots have been photoshopped.... much more colour saturation on the car than in the rest of the picture.. i doubt the paint will be that shiny in real life! |

That's the thing with minis, you can go and customize it however you want, who cares what other people think. Only problem is this guy might have hurt his resale value a bit. |

I don't mind checker plate in principle, but I think he took it a tad too far - I don't know about anyone else but my elbows are always up against or hitting the door cards in my car, i'd imagine i'd bleed to death if I drove that car ![]() |

aww my dash is checkerplate and i love it! it was one of the reasons i bought my car. and in my old mini i put checkerplate door cards, they looked good to me (they did rattle abit though) i must be one of the minority that like it... |
