am keen to find out how much does a pair of Yokohama A008 tyres cost in OZ plse?

And whats the expected price for these hard to get wheels?

Keen to know as I may wanna start a new life in OZ...lol and use it there

A008s are usually around $125 each in Sydney these days.
If you haggle for a set of 4 you could do better.

A008s are in stock somewhere in Sydney most times, or wait a few weeks until the boat gets here.

Looks like, 10" tyres are easily available and wd it be right to presume the 12" ones are easy too but cost perhaps 20% more?

Tyres for 12s are becoming a problem. The choices in road tyres are running out fast.

a silly question mate; inview of the shortages of tyres for 12", wud it be right to say that most mini in OZ are either running on 10" and 13" plse?

All Minis sold in Oz (except 1275LS) had 10" wheels, people who want bigger wheels now tend to go for 13s, there's not a great choice of those either- but it's better than in 12s.

good condition mumbas can sell for quiet a few hundred dollars depending on who and where etc.... very sexy wheels IMHO (i want a set ) Good luck!

The price of the Mamba's will depend on their condition. A set of 4 in good condition could sell for $800. Obviously it will depend on whether they have centre caps, wheel nuts, tyres, gutter rash etc. It also depends whether they are the early real Mamba's or the later Japanese copies The price I have given above is what I would think good condition real (early) mamba's would be worth (but remember - they are only worth what someone is willing to pay).

The early ones have the valve coming out of the outer (usually polished bit) of the rim. The later japanese copies have it coming out of the centre and pointing towards the centre cap.

Check out this site if you want some pics of what I'm talking about. Click on 10" and then scroll down until you find the mamba's.

The only reason I know this is because I recently bought a set of the later japanese copies. I would have preffered genuine early mamba's, but these were there and very cheap, so I couldn't resist
