This is my MKII S , the only original colour left that I can tell is under the dash vinyl. Was the body colour originally sprayed here or am I getting it confused with primer? Interested to hear what colour you all think it is ? Thanks for your help! ![]() |

I agree with Steve , top dash rail could well be sugarcane . It's a warm cream with some yellow mixed in , hard to describe but is a very nice colour really , not a beige but not yellow . |

I have an idea what the colour is but I'm keen to see what you guys think to confirm it. No paint sticker left. Getting close to getting paint on so need to sort it out. Anyone got a pic of an 'S' this colour? Thanks again! |

Could be Crystal White (Dulon 11572) looking at the roof? The dash rail paint can sometimes look a bit stained by the glue it it has been retrimed at some point (the factory only glued above and below the actual rail). |

Yeah I see what you mean. There doesn't seem to be glue around where the harness goes through the firewall and the paint does't really seem to be white. The white up top could be oversparay from the roof colour? Tops of door frames seem to be the "sugarcane" colour. Cheers , any pics of MKII 'S' in sugarcane? |

The colour was also used for mini K's and mini.matic's so don't just ask for Mk2 S's in the colour . Here's the colour chart with the code from the morris 1100 site , the colour sample might be a bit off but the code's there . http://www.elevenhundred.com/colours.php |

Is that a set of holes a couple of centimetres apart on the left front of the parcel shelf? If so you may have an ex-NSW Police MK II S. Did you strip the car? If so, did it have 2 speed wipers, reversing lights in rear indicators, extra small hole in handbrake mounting bracket and/or a hole in the middle of the roof? I say this because neutral colours like yours seemed to be popular as Police vehicles (mine was Kelp Beige) and respraying a 'fast' colour like Jet Red (like mine) seemed popular by those who refurbished cars bought at auction. |

Well spotted! I beleive this to be an Ex police Car. Holes in LH lower dash , centre mount arial hole , lowered seat frames , 2 sp wipers and somehow it came with an Clubman GT police eng. I know it's not as good as having delivery/log book info , but most signs seem to be there. Have you a pic of your car in kelp beige? Thanks . |
