hey guys was anyone up at wakefield at the tractor pull ? if so there was tyhe super mini series up there as a support category, there was some amazing cars with crazy engineering, i will upload my pics when my pc is fixed . |

just back from the multiclub event at WP...damn cold....John Battersby threw a fan belt and blew a radiator/head big time...right in front of the start/finish....huge clouds of smoke/steam etc... 
Wheatley circulated quickly and had a good dice with the Spridget from Canberra. Greig Malaure was there, but not racing 
still can't get used to Charles Gruber in a Torrie.... |

Wakefield Park is always cold and I hate racing there in the winter. If it didn't have pit sheds I would not consider it at all. What time did the water pipes unfreeze? |

Dunno about the pipes...but people who stayed up on the hill overnight awoke to the usual half an inch of ice on their cars.....the brew urn was hot when I turned up around 0730 so thankful for that.... It was only the wind that made it uncomfortabl every now and then.... we are expecting -7 here tomorrow...yee hah! |
