Was sent this link by a Canadian friend , look at what $3,000 Canadian dollars get's you , body's been fixed but not running. Check out the boot hinges to tilt the front clip up from the scuttle panel (hope it's been reinforced) and the front bumper that would trip short mice over ....

That looks dodgy. He's either a really good welder and didn't get any distortion when reinforcing the scuttle panel or it's not reinforced. Is that bumper off of a Bug? :?

Don't know but it matches the rear . I think it might be the type that had the bumpers mounted on chrome posts so they sat half way up the grille to meet the minimum height laws . As for the front clip , I can't imagine the boot hinges being very strong so would dread to be in it for a frontal collisin , you could find the bonnet coming through the windscreen to meet you .
