could an MG seat diaphragm be used instead of a normal $90 mini one?

Have a look on one of the specialist suppliers like Newtons and see if they list the same part number for both cars

Because the people on ausmini would have more idea than a company that sells mini AND MG parts?

alright alright.....
just got off te phone with them.... dimensions are 350 by 430, made a template of that... while the 430 length is good, the 350 is way too small.... thats that idea gone then....

they also said that no-one makes mini diaphragms any more... anyone heard this?

Got mine from Newtons about 5 years ago but they show something different now

I got some good s/h ones from John at Mini King a while ago, they were Bostik brand I think.
