bloody hell.... imagine having that attached to your gonads!

nice work - SPi only, or can we hook it up using EDIS on an ex-points dizzy motor?

should work with all kind of ignition systems
but it can only control one coil.
maybe 2 of them could handle the EDIS set up, we don't know. but its something we may have to test

do you think you can explain how it would be fitted up to a standard points ignition engine, and what the 2mm spark gap means to our performance?

thanks :)

much bigger spark than 1.1mm (I think that's right for a mini?) should lead to better combustion

the main advantage is that the spark will happen much more faster and has much more energy.
if you want to know more and like the colorfull language of catalogs/webpages you may look at www.msdignition.com and the like.
its basicly the same, just homemade and only one spark at a time. multiple sparks may be added later

you probertly won't run 2mm spark plug gap in a car, it was just to show the spark better.
but who knows, maybe you engine will like a very big plug gap

this board just needs a trigger, this can be points or some kind of electronic, like the SPi.

and the first try on a car was successfull. but we need some kind of case, there are 300 volts all over the pcb we have to isolate. there are allways some minor things that stops you working
