OK there are 26 spring clips (new), I haven't fitted any of these for 30+ years, the last couple of times I just glued the seal onto the bootlid. What is the trick- do you put them all on the bootlid first and try to feed the seal along them, or push each one in whilst held into the seal? ![]() I have about 6 manuals, and not one covers it... ![]() |

Last one I did Kev, I used the latter technique! ![]() I have heard people complain about this job, but I found it relatively straightforward? ![]() Might be some deal with having the right profile of seal and clip combo? Good luck! ![]() |

I mounted the clips and tried to push the rubber on last time and regretted it. |

I am using a Karcraft seal, the sponge has a bigger hole than that from another western suburbs supplier so hopefully it won't need 5 people to close the lid the first time like Anton's did. ![]() |
