For those that have rose joint bottom arms where it attaches to the Pivot are does it float freely or should thier be something on eather side |

Any corrosion resistant alloy would be good, or even brass. Stainless would also be OK if you had it. |

Are rose joints legal for road use in NSW? I used to build race cars with em, I doubt they would last long in street use on our crap roads. Also, you will get heaps of noise and vibes into the car...

Have to agrre with doc that for a road car they are not really all that good and you do need something to stop the transfer of noise and vibration, as for legal if you can get a engineer to sign off on them they are, there are a lot of kit cars out there that use them in there suspension but you will be changing them for new ones very often so start saving your pennies for decent replacemnets |

Hey spraycanmansam If you dont mind me asking, where is that pic from you posted? Are they mini rose jointed lower arms? If so did the covers come with the arms? where from?, iam after some covers similar to them! Cheers |

Stay away from Rose Joints Jimbo, don't do it! Insurance will be void if you make these type of mods... I have 1.5 deg negative non-adjustable camber arms and they are accurate to within 0.05 degrees of each other on either side measured, not that you'd notice this on a road car. Lillee is by no means a straight car and even running on pretty big castor via adjustable tie rods changes the camber only very slightly. I feel they are 10 times safer than adjustable type. You're not going to reset them daily on a road car, set once and forget |

Jim, as they are the latest type Minispares ones you should be able to get the threaded bits with rubber bushes... go see your friendly Sydney Mini parts purveyor where you bought, he might swap em.

MiniMafia can I take you up on your offer Which I'll Pm You As we discused today Kev I will pop into my friendly Sydney Mini parts purveyor and see if can surply the other type also. I still have the original one which will be put on for Blue Slip and I will use the RoseJoints for other occasions
