That is not my point! ![]() I want to know how one used to do it before computers and wheel alignment voodoo magic! Besides, I am that close to new wheels and tyres, who cares about alignment? I shouldn't be driving my car as is, to quote Gafmo and the Doc ![]() |

Get it aligned when the new tyres go on, most places do a deal. I could tell you how to do it with planks, string and housebricks but then I would have to kill you.. ![]() |

then I paid to have it done - Paying is easier ![]() Easiest way. ![]() Just make sure the dude knows which is toe-in and which is toe-out. Goodyear Tyre did my Fiat once- gave it 4mm toe-OUT! Rooted the tyres in a couple of weeks.. ![]() |

i would look around for a place too, i went to about 6 workshops and none of them could do it with the new machines they have, something about the wheels on a mini, or the flares cant remember... but shops with the older type aligners are fine. |

The place I got my tyres, couldn't wheel align my clubman at the same time cause the mini was too low to get the jack under or something like that. |
